Welcome to Akplants

This time of year is always very busy for a nursery, particularly transplanting. Seeds that were sown in thw Autumn are now germinating and need to be moved into individual pots.

These include conifers as well as some ornamental trees such as Judas Tree and Chinese Redbud. Other seedlings that keep us busy include Acacia Dealbata and Mimosa Persian Silk.

The two plants below are very popular, the Golden Rain, an Indian version of the Laburnum and the Mimosa Persian Silk.

About Akplants

Akplants is a specialist nursery based in Norwich on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, dedicated to growing premium ornamental trees and shrubs. Founded in 2018 by Arthur Jones, a retired teacher with a passion for horticulture, what began as a part-time venture focused on Monkey Puzzle trees has grown into a curated collection of specimen conifers, flowering trees, and distinctive shrubs. We operate primarily online to serve customers across the UK, offering detailed care guides and expert advice through our comprehensive website. While we don't have traditional opening hours, customers are always welcome to arrange collection of their plants from our Norwich nursery.
